The collegiate athlete often
needs a quick education when if comes to dealing with the press.
If your college program is under increased media pressure, and your
players are often required to add media interviews to their extra
curricular activities, then take advantage of our training created
specifically to meet the needs of
collegiate
athletic programs.
This 2 hour course
is designed to teach a large group of athletes in a classroom setting.
Videotaped examples of actual media interviews showcasing successful
- and not so successful - techniques are incorporated into the curriculum.
Students will also receive a complete play-book that outlines the
strategies they need to be better prepared to deal with the media.
This class could be one of
the most valuable courses your student athlete will take during
his or her involvement in collegiate sports. Whether or not your
athlete(s) turns professional, the lessons taught in this course will
improve your student’s communication skills and better prepare
him or her for future opportunities.
Wendy Burch Communications
also offers one-day group training seminars for select collegiate
athletes, and can also provide private coaching for stand-out players
facing increased media pressures.
